Chris Graham was born & raised mostly in Wellington. But also in Ottawa. Then in Bangkok.  Then after developing his graffiti art and photography skills in the 80's at Onslow College in Wellington, he was accepted to film school in New York City.  Four years later he graduated with honours from the School of Visual Arts, SVA, in Manhattan.  His thesis film 'Life Before Me' won three 'Dusty' awards for Best Direction, Best Sound & Best Film.  After moving back home to New Zealand, he joined up with production company Flying Fish where he built up his commercial career for the last 12 years.  Chris now owns the film company 'goodLife'.

Alongside making TVC's, chris has a strong passion for Music Videos, which he has selectively made some of the most memorable videos over the last decade.  He recently made his music video debut in the US, with 'Wild Out' for acclaimed US hip hop artists Savage & Baby Bash, followed by 'Love the Islands' for Savage which was shot all over the Samoan Islands.  He is the most awarded video maker in New Zealand, with 11 awards over a 6 year span, including winning a hat trick of three prestigious TUI awards for Smashproof's 'Brother', Dei Hamo's 'We Gone Ride' & Scribe's 'Stand Up' videos.

Chris has also made award winning short films 'Bus Stop' [Melbourne '02] & 'Water' [Sundance '04] & has recently completed a short film commissioned by 42 Below, for the 'One Dream Rush' film project for Beijing.  Chris has also made two feature films, with his debut film 'Sione's Wedding' grossing the highest opening weekend for a NZ film ever, and is ranked 5th in the biggest box office for a NZ film.  He followed the success of that romantic comedy for the boys, with the psychological horror film 'The Ferryman' starring John Rhys Davies and Kerry Fox.  Chris is currently screenwriting and has his next feature film projects in development.
